Chicken rice is a common sight in Malaysia, but Thai Style Chicken rice is something different. On one sight, the stall looks like just another chicken stall, but 1 might notice, eh, why is there some Thai Language on the signboard?

Well, when served, it also looks like just another plate of Chicken rice, with a choice of roasted chicken or steamed chicken.

However, 1 shall take note, I find that the stall owner seems to just simply chop the chicken, and never arrange it properly. The chicken was very messy as you can see the meat and bones seems to be tear apart rather than being chopped. Bad presentation will usually spoil one’s appetite, and hence I find that the chicken taste just normal ( and too salty too) before……

I eat the chicken with THIS! This is their special made chili sauce which you won’t be able to find it elsewhere. The chili is made with mainly garlic, chili, vinegar and even some tao cheong, spicier and oilier than the normal one. It’s really appetizing and make everything goes with it nice! Besides, the rice here is very fragrant too. 8.2/10

Another thing that I find very odd here is that the chicken rice stall does not serve taugeh. It’s the stall beside is that sell it, which turns out not bad as it was not overcooked.

The otak-otak here however is just normal. Don’t bother to order it la, come for the chicken rice is good enough. 5.5/10

Overall, this Thai Style Chicken Rice located at Lam Hong Coffee Shop is quite good, especially if you are looking for some special chicken rice.
